The former Chief Judge of Malaya, Tan Seri Dato Siti Norma Yaakob, was appointed as one of the six new judges of the DIFC courts in Dubai. The new judges swore the oath in front of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai on January, 28, 2008.
