Septuplets


AN Egyptian woman gave birth to septuplets early Saturday in the coastal city of Alexandria after taking fertility drugs in effort to produce a son.The babies were delivered by Caesarean section, four boys and three girls, weigh between 1.45 kilograms and 2.8 kilograms are in stable condition. The Caesarean section had to be done during the woman's eight months of pregnancy due to the pressure on her kidneys. The woman is the wife of a farmer, is already the mother of three girls. In rural Egypt, sons are preffered to daughters.
